The vision of this ministry is to teach new members the basic foundations of Christianity, aide new members in building their relationship in Jesus Christ, and in building their relationship with Christ Church.

This ministry works by partnering each new member of Christ Church with a member of the New Member’s Ministry for prayer and guidance.  This partnership usually lasts a minimum of 3 months.

  • What does it mean to be Apostolic
  • Water baptism
  • Baptism in the Holy Ghost
  • Purpose of the Church
  • Purpose of the Family
  • Principles of Prayer
  • Principles of Fasting
  • Principles of Tithing
  • Repentance/Forgiveness
  • Importance of Daily Devotions
  • What does it mean to be a steward of Christ
  • Additional Lessons – Holy Communion, Testimony

New members will also learn scriptures by receiving a different memory verse for each of the above lessons and create a plan to read the four gospels over a course of four months.

The New Members ministry is a go-to source for new members that may have questions about the church, or need items like directions to frequently visited churches.  This ministry can provide information on recommended books, or reading materials and CDs to help with study and development of their relationship with Christ.
